Colour To Greyscale

The use of black and white printers is still commonplace in many environments, not least because of the high cost of colour printers. While millions of greyscale reproductions are generated, the method that converts colour to monochrome has been long overlooked, and it's time for a rethink. We want you to compare some new ways of making black and white images, and want to know which method produces the best/most pleasing outputs. The results will guide the future design of printers, and will also tell us something about the way people view images.
